A "Listing" is an informative description of any yoga product, retreat, studio, etc. If there is no listing for something you would like to review, you can submit a new listing yourself. You will need to select a suitable "Section" and "Category" from the dropdown lists. If you don't see an appropriate category for your new listing, just put it in one of the "Other" categories and we'll create a new place for it. Teachers/Vendors can also submit listings for their products, workshops, etc. You'll need to login first (create a new free account here, if you haven't already). Then you'll see the Submit New Listing option under your User Menu). Note that all new listings are subject to review. We try to approve all new submissions within one business day. Required Info: Note that there are a couple of required sections in a listing, including the Title and the Summary. Required sections are marked by a red asterisk *. The "summary" area is just above the description area. Frankly, most people just put everything in the summary and leave the description blank. Images: There are two ways to add images Images Method 1: This uses the "Images" form below the "Description" area. In this case you can upload pictures from your own computer, which will display as thumbnails on the right side of your listing information. When clicked, these expand to full size. The first image you upload is also used as the thumbnail when a summary of your listing is displayed, so it is best to put at least one image here. To Delete images uploaded this way, you must be in the edit page for your listing (same layout as when you create a new listing). In the Images section, you will see thumbnails of any image you have already uploaded. On the bottom edge of these thumbnails you'll see a tiny grey wastebasket icon. Click that to delete the image. Images Method 2: Copy and Paste from another website into the Summary or Description area. On the website you are copying from (with permission of course) highlight the image, or a whole block of text and images for that matter, and copy it by clicking your browser Edit menu, then Copy. Now go to your yogireivews.com listing (you must be in the new listing or edit listing mode), click in the Summary or Description area to get your cursor inside one of those boxes, and use Edit - Paste to insert a copy into your listing. You can edit an image inserted this way by clicking on it (of course you must be in edit mode for your listing). When clicked, a little box should surround the image. Then click the "insert/edit image" icon above the Summary/Description area: it looks like a little green tree. A new window will pop up, and you can change the size, alignment, etc. Images Method 3: Similarly, you can insert images into the Summary or Description sections, one by one. To add an image, put your cursor where you want the image, then click on the little green "tree" icon (located in the second row of icons above the text editing area). A window will pop up, allowing you to type in the location of the image. There are also options to set the alignment/position size, etc. For this method, you have to use an image that is already on a website somewhere. This could be on your own website, a free picture sharing site, etc. To get the exact location of the image you want to use, go to the page with the image, right-click on the image and click on Properties. A new Properties window will pop up - highlight and copy the address/URL of the image. If you're having trouble, use the copy and paste method above. If you use Firefox as a browser, you can right-click on an image, then click View Image. That will take you to a new page with just the image in it. Then just highlight and copy the web address for that image in the top of the browser.
